Shipping your garments to the studio

Two paths — buy a prepaid label through Modelon at checkout, or ship yourself using any carrier you like.

Updated May 31, 2026

When you place a Studio order, you'll see a "How would you like to ship?" step with two choices. Both work, both have the same turnaround once we receive the box — pick whichever is easier for you.

You enter your pickup address, we quote real-time rates across USPS and UPS, you pick a service tier, and the label is generated automatically the moment payment goes through.

You'll see options like:

  • USPS Ground Advantage — slower, cheapest
  • USPS Priority Mail — 1-3 days
  • UPS Ground — 1-5 days
  • USPS Priority Express — fastest

We add a small handling fee to the carrier rate so the label, packing, and tracking are all wrapped into one number. No surprise charges. The total you see on the rate-picker is exactly what's added to your order.

After payment:

  1. You land on your order page with a big Download shipping label button (also emailed to you)
  2. Print the label (any home printer works), tape it to a box, and drop it off at the carrier — or schedule a pickup with USPS/UPS
  3. Tracking updates flow through to your order page

I'll ship myself

Pick this if you already have a shipping account, a discounted rate, or just prefer your own carrier. We show you the intake address after checkout — no shipping line is added to your order total.

You're responsible for:

  • Buying your own label
  • Packing the garments
  • Getting it to the studio

Include a slip of paper inside the box with your order number (the #xxxxxxxx shown on the order page) so we can match the shipment to the right account when it arrives.

Damages, lost packages, and returns

  • Lost in transit — file a claim with the carrier first. If you bought through Modelon, email info@modelon.ai and we'll help.
  • Damaged garments at intake — we flag the affected items, photograph the rest, and refund the unphotographable ones automatically.
  • Want your garments back? — not included by default. Email us and we'll arrange a return shipment at your cost.
